DESIGN SOLUTIONS
-
Powder room was relocated to the addition/bump out to the existing, attached, large, three car garage.
-
A bow front vanity with two drawer bases for storage was added. Applied Rococo ornamentation was added to the bow fronted sink base.
-
A polished brass sink, faucet and accessories compliment a deep green, marble slab counter top.
-
A gold finished mirror ornamented with gold swags is flanked by gold finished wall sconces which repeat the swaged motif of the mirror.
-
Fluted casings, crown molding and chair rail further enhance the classic vocabulary of the space.
-
A garden motif is given to the walls by a faux finished chinoiserie design inspired by a collaged wall treatment in one of England's stately homes. The artist used birds found in the pages of the Audubon Society Magazine as her models.
-
The client loves the convenience and look of her new powder room. The new space coordinates with the character of the rest of the home beautifully.
